There are certain restrictions regarding some videos and DVDs.
Special rules apply for foreigners without a civil registration number (CPR.nr).
If your borrower's ticket is lost, please report this immediately to the library to prevent any misuse.
With a PIN and your borrower's ticket you can check your ‘Loan Status' and reserve books by using the library catalogue database - even outside normal opening hours. If you do not know your PIN please visit your library.
Loans:
• You can check your current loans and deadlines for returns.
• Loans may be renewed 2 times if the item is not reserved by others and the loan period has not been exceeded.
Reservations:
• You can see your current reservations.
• Information about picking up reserved items can be found by checking your Loan Status.
• The library can offer to notice you by e-mail.
• You can cancel your reservations.
Account:
• You can see if you have charges or bills.
Registrations of all loans are done electronically. The loan information is erased when the item is returned. Loan-receipts, given when items are borrowed, show the number of items borrowed and the deadline for their return. Return-receipts are given on demand.
There is no limit to the number of items that can be borrowed, with the exception of some cdroms, cds, videos, DVDs and games.
Be aware that all items are burglar proofed. Security points at each exit will release an alarm in case non registered items are passed through.
For most items the loan period is one month - for exceptions this will be stated. Loans can be renewed up to 5 times if the item is not reserved by others.
Fines are charged on each item kept overdue.
In extreme cases you can be excluded from borrowing until the matter has been settled.
